If you have been anywhere near crypto Twitter lately, you have probably seen Avalanche trending. AVAX has been on an absolute tear these past few months, and everyone seems to have an opinion on where it goes next. As someone who has been burned by hype more than once, I like to look at the actual calls behind the noise, so when a well-known crypto analyst with a huge following makes a bold prediction, I pay attention.
According to that popular crypto analyst, Avalanche has still more room to grow. He says he’s still bullish on the smart contract platform and believes it could climb to more than 280 USD. He’s comparing the movement of Avalanche to Solana’s parabolic move, and for anyone who watched Solana this year, that comparison carries serious weight.
📈 The Analyst’s Call
The core of the argument is simple: if Solana’s run is the template, then Avalanche is not done yet. Also quoted from the crypto analyst: “If the $SOL (Solana) run is anything to go by, then $AVAX (Avalanche) should have plenty of gas left in the tank.”.

The comparison is not random. Solana went from around 35 USD in early August to an all-time high near 260 USD by early November, roughly a sevenfold climb in three months. Avalanche has followed a similar path: from about 13 USD in the summer to its own all-time high of 146 USD on November 21, a move of more than ten times. When an analyst says there is precedent for this kind of price action, he is pointing at a chart that just happened.
🔍 Reading the Chart
Zooming in on the crypto analyst’s chart, he plotted a move up to 280 USD, which represents a potential gain of around 110% from the current price range of 128 to 133 USD. In plain terms, he is saying AVAX could more than double from where it was trading when he posted the call.
For context, that kind of target is aggressive but not unheard of in this market. Solana overtook its own November highs after pullbacks, so the thesis depends on Avalanche repeating that pattern rather than rolling over the way many parabolic runners eventually do. That is the part worth watching closely.
⚡ Why Avalanche Is Moving
It is easy to talk about charts, but the fundamentals give this story its legs. Avalanche is a smart contract platform built for speed, with transactions finalizing in under two seconds, and it has been aggressively courting developers. The Avalanche Rush program, a 180 million USD incentive initiative launched in August, pulled major DeFi protocols like Aave and Curve onto the network, and the ecosystem has been growing ever since.
That combination of incentives and real usage is why AVAX was already one of the best performing large caps in 2021 before this analyst call even landed. Momentum, as they say, begets momentum, and right now Avalanche has plenty of it.
📊 Where the Price Is Right Now
At the time of the writing, the price of Avalanche was still swinging between 120 and 140 USD, with an ATR (Average True Range) of 4.2. In case you are not familiar with ATR, it is simply a measure of how much a coin typically moves in a day, and 4.2 means swings of a few dollars are completely normal right now.
That volatility cuts both ways, of course. A coin that can rally to 280 USD can also shake out impatient buyers along the way, and nobody likes watching their position dip 10% in an afternoon. If you are going to ride this wave, be ready for the dips.
🧠 Final Thoughts
Analyst calls are opinions, not promises, and the same chart that points to 280 USD could just as easily be forgotten in a month. What I do know is that Avalanche has the momentum, the ecosystem, and the precedent on its side, and until that changes, calls like this one will keep coming.
As always, do your own research, never invest more than you can afford to lose, and keep an eye on the ATR if you are trading the swings. Stay updated always in the crypto space!
